Signature method

Žydėsiu, kai ribas nubrėšiu

A signature method in which creating a mandala becomes a tool for self-reflection. The work doesn't explain who you are – it shows how you chose. That is where the conversation with yourself begins.

What is „Žydėsiu, kai ribas nubrėšiu“?

This is a creative reflection method in which we work in two layers: the creative one (how I create) and the reflective one (what I notice when I look at what I've made). The method is based on principles of creative self-development and art therapy, but it is not a medical service.

How does the process work?

The process follows a clear sequence, yet it isn't rigid: each stage can take as long as it needs to. In the reflection stage, no one interprets your work for you – you only name what you notice yourself.

What does a person experience while creating?

Most often – a slowing down. Sometimes – discomfort, when you want to "erase and start again." Sometimes – unexpected clarity about something that had gone unspoken. All these states are part of the process.

Who is the method for?

For those who want a calm, creative way of looking at themselves; for couples and families looking for an activity that brings them together; for groups for whom a shared creative process matters.

Hands creating a mandala – a creative reflection process
"The work proves nothing. But it shows very precisely how we chose."

Stages

The process in stages – from silence to naming

Each stage adds a new part of the mandala. In the end, the parts come together into one whole.

  1. 01

    Stopping

Silence before the beginning. We notice the state we've arrived in.

  2. 02

    Centre

The first choice on the page – where we begin from.

  3. 03

    Unfolding

The pattern grows in layers: rhythm, density, colour.

  4. 04

    Mirror

Looking at the finished work from a distance, without judgement.

  5. 05

    Naming

One sentence about what I see and what I've noticed.

Formats

The method is offered in four formats

Individual process

Full attention on your process. You create at your own pace, and the reflection conversation happens only as much as you want it to.

Working as a couple

Two mandalas, or one shared one. We notice how we align, where we need space, and where a shared rhythm emerges.

Working as a family

Each person creates their own part, and the parts are joined into one shared family mandala.

Working in a group

Individual creativity in a shared space, and a joint group creation, if the group would like one.
