Free Creative Works

Works that were born without a task or a plan – simply out of a desire to create. Each one comes with a short story.

Seed of Life mandala painted in watercolour

„Seed of life“ – the Seed of Life

My journey into sacred geometry began with this „Seed of life“ mandala. It is the very first mandala I drew a few years ago. If your soul is also drawn to drawing mandalas but it seems far too complicated – let us begin together with the Seed of Life. It is simple enough for anyone to draw, and at the same time rich enough to feel the pleasure and the energy of mandalas in the process.

Painting on an easel outdoors: a golden Flower of Life above a winged figure

The Angel and the Flower of Life

Painted outdoors, under an open sky. The golden Flower of Life above the wings speaks of protection and of the connection with something greater than ourselves.

A mandala with a triquetra symbol held in hands

Triquetra

A knot of three arcs with no beginning and no end. One of my favourite symbols, one I return to again and again.

Watercolour mandala with three leaves

Three Leaves

Shapes of nature that travelled straight from the meadow onto paper – with no plan, only colour and rhythm.

Wooden boards with Flower of Life patterns drawn on them

The Flower of Life on Wood

A pattern drawn not on paper but on wood. The wood itself decides where the line will stop.

Sacred geometry mandala with a sun

Geometry of the Sun

A study in sacred geometry: circles, rays and slow, precise drawing with a compass.
